Low Impact Aerobic choreography is based on steps from salsa, meringue, and cha cha. We’re going to learn these basic Latin dance moves while working on our endurance and developing our sense of rhythm. To help you and keep you motivated right until the end, I’ve asked my friends Santo and Melissa who previous took the LIA Latino course, to join us for the final stage, the big moment where we repeat the entire choreography, where you need to give it your all.

We’re going to have a good time and work up a sweat. I am going to teach you 5 blocks of choreography, each block has four counts of eight, to the right then to the left. I will first teach you the basic steps, then modify them, repeat them and add them the the previous block of choreography. The goal is to keep going until you’ve learned the entire choreography.

Remember to stay hydrated; drink whenever you feel thirsty. I hope you will enjoy this course as much as I enjoyed creating it and teaching it. Most importantly, remember to breathe deeply and enjoy yourself. Don’t worry if you make mistakes, enjoy yourself and dance!
